On the face of things, Argentina fans have plenty to be happy about following their 2-1 victory over Colombia. The team cut short a run of two matches without a win in the suffocating heat of Barranquilla, in front of an intensely passionate crowd and against a team which have proved themselves extremely capable at the start of this campaign.

The Spanish giants made the announcement on their official website but did not reveal whether the pair would miss their Primera Division clash with Valencia at Mestalla on Saturday.
"Cristiano Ronaldo did not train due to a strain in the adductor muscle of his left thigh and neither did Arbeloa, who is suffering from a strain in his left hamstring," reads a statement from Madrid.
Ronaldo featured for Portugal in their 6-2 victory over Bosnia & Herzegovina in the second leg of the Euro 2012 play-off tie in Lisbon on Tuesday and scored two goals to see the Iberian nation through to the finals.
The 26-year-old also played in Portugal’s goalless away draw with Bosnia in the first leg last Friday.
Arbeloa played for Spain in both of their latest friendly internationals - a 1-0 defeat to England in London on Saturday and a 2-2 draw with Costa Rica in San Jose on Tuesday.
Madrid are currently in pole position in the Spanish top flight with 28 points from 11 matches, three more than defending champions and bitter rivals Barcelona.

Everyone who vaguely follows such things knows that The Daily Telegraph's pseud-in-chief Henry Winter has quite a thing for Jack Rodwell.
We were therefore bracing ourselves for the gushing praise that would no doubt spout from his quill after Rodwell's perfectly adequate performance for England. Which is fine - the lad did a decent job.
However, the fly in the ointment was obviously that pesky open goal he missed. The glorious, obvious, gaping chance he was given on a plate and spurned. How would Henry deal with that?
Like this: 'Rodwell stole the midfield show, shining between the boxes, making tackles and chances, even threatening to score himself.'
Smashing work. One man's missed sitter is another man's 'threatening to score'.

Van Persie beri bukti bukan janji
Minggu (16/10/2011) Van Persie berhasil membawa kemenangan timnya atas Sunderland 2-1. Dua gol yang dicetaknya juga melalui proses yang spesial. Pada gol pertama dia berhasil mencetak gol cepat di detik ke 29. Sekaligus menjadi gol tercepat musim ini. Meski sempat disamakan oleh Sebastian Larsson di menit 31.
Sedangkan pada gol keduanya, pemain Tim Nasional Belanda ini melakukannya melalui tendangan bebas, tepatnya pada menit ke 83. Tendangan kaki kiri yang melengkung, berhasil merobek jala Simon Mignolet.
Setelah mengantarkan kemenangan Arsenal, Van Persie langsung melontarkan komentar balik atas rumor yang menderanya. Dia mengaku hal tentang rumor hengkangnya dia sudah biasa didengarnya.
“Saya masih berkomitmen kepada Arsenal. Ini adalah tahun ke delapan saya. Jika Anda mengatakan salah satu pemain (Arsenal) yang punya komitmen penuh, itu adalah saya,” ucapnya seperti disitat Sky Sports, Senin (17/10/2011).
Sementara itu, penampilan memukau kapten Arsenal itu ternyata mendapatkan pujian dari pelatihnya, Arsene Wenger. Bagi The Professor, Van Persie merupakan pemain yang spesial di matanya.
Kini, Van Persie bukan hanya memberikan kemenangan bagi Arsenal. Tapi mengembalikan tren positif The Gunners. Van Persie diharapkan bisa memimpin rekan-rekan The Young Guns untuk bisa kembali merangkak ke papan atas klasemen Premier League, pasca ditinggalkan Nasri, Clichy, dan Fabregas akhir musim lalu.
